Things to do today…

Well… I knwo theNow that I have wasted half the day in bed (oh yes… I forgot to tell you… I’ve woken up at 11:15am… It set my day back horrors… but it was soooo great! Helped me keep up with 3 weeks of sleeping VERY badly… if sleeping at all… Thanks for not waking me up baby… ) I have now to prioritize the huge list of things that I have to do today… let’s see…

Buy the (£6) Firewire cables to connect CWI’s (£2,700) Canon XG A1 Camera to the desktop (and Laptop) computers so we can get videos edited at the hub and here… (incredible how lil things make the difference… couldn’t they have included the bloody cables in the HUGE camera package???)
Pay council tax bill (why oh why doesn’t direct debit work??? grrrrrrrrr)
VERY rapidly work on frontpage for surgechurch.org (should be ready AGES ago… my wrong… I’ve been feeling a bit blue… no excuses… but hey…)
run to the Hub so I can wreck fix the the door to make the room a bit more soundproof (borrowed Chris’s electric saw (hehehe) let’s do some mess DIY!!
Call landlord and convince him to switch our gas Bill to an other provider (Bloody British Gas wants to charge £70/month when on the old house we used to pay £50 for gas and electrics! grrrrrrrr)
Work on Vic’s new template (I can foresee another sleepless night ahead…

There are more things to do… but not enough hours in the day… So I guess I should stop blogging and go and get it started…

Losing Control

I am not feeling very good…

Actually that is a lie…

I am not feeling anything… Like, anything at all… I spent time trying to find out what’s wrong as I cried under the shower. I found out that the worst of the problem was not what I was feeling… but what I was not… I went from feeling pain… from feeling a complete failure… to feeling nothing… I can’t say I can get a clear thought in my mind… just a constant streaming of ideas that somehow don’t connect…My hands are shaking… At least that is something…

Had a bad day-start (baaaad baaad bad bad one) … Again I think it might just be the last drop that turns the glass tho…

My head hurts.

Connor’s coming to play with TB today… And I have a counseling section at the end of the day. Should I call it off or simply be there for him. Is he gonna get on my nerves and I’ll just tell him to GFHS??? I think I’m gonna do just that if I am not feeling better by the end of the morning…

Gotta make something of today… But I feel like crawling back into bed and staying there till well, don’t know. I REALLY feel like going back to bed and sleeping the day off…

I had a weird dream… Worst Case Scenario. It goes like something like that: Russia invades Georgia, Georgia strikes back, Russia refuses to withdraw, USA sends troops to support Georgia, Russia Strikes USA with Nuclear Warheads, All out war breaks lose. The war to end all wars… peace and total annihilation of the human species hand in a VERY thin and fragile line… They say that if WWIII breaks lose, the next one we’ll fight will be with sticks and stones… As if…

I’ll be back when my head clears a bit…

Mum is driving me crazy!!!

Ok… more than she often does then…

She has now decided that as a family we should follow some of the Hebrew traditions in our ruts. In particular the ones that have to do with the Sabbath. Ok, nothing against that, as I already guard the Sabbath normally and all… But she is kinda taking things to an extreme by wanting to perform the rituals involved with that all…

Hummmm… dunno… It might actually be cool… But learning all the prayers (in Hebrew) and lighting candles and she even bought me a shofar (a trumpet made of a Ram’s Horn used in some special occasions). Or worse… eating kosher at least on during the Sabbath might prove to be a lil too much to learn for my poor almost 30 year old head… Old habits are VERY hard to kill… like loving bacon, and sausages, and anything pork-related…

Don’t take me wrong… It is awesome that she decided to leave old mainstream christianity beliefs behind… I mean… the ones that still anchored her to at least a bit of religiosity (one thing you have to learn of me is that, even being a pastor, I HATE religiosity and see it as the rut of all evil! Ok, I am exaggerating here but if Jesus himself hated it why should I comply with them (yup, he did.. just look i the bible (new testament) and you will find plenty of examples of JC going head-first against religion)? And to teachings that rather of being based on bible teaching are taken from… well.. only God knows where from…

Want an example? Once I met a pastor that came to “tell me off” because I was inviting a member of his church to play football… “because football is a sin because it incites competition and disunion blablabla”(by which point I stoped hearing what he was saying). In my opinion, sin is doing something against yourself (not good for yourself) or against God (see 10 Commandments in and you will what I mean).

I am still making up my mind about so many things… Half the things I was thought as a kid were, in my opinion a bunch of lies… Even if they didn’t know they were telling lies… For Goodness sake, all you need is to read the bible to defeat half the things that half the pastors say… Why? Because half the doctrines followed by mainstream christianity are anti-biblical… Don’t forget doctrines were invented throughout the history of the church and incorporated as absolute truths…

I hate dealing in absolutes… But sometimes you’ve just got to… argh!!!

I am going NUTS! And the more I think the worst I get… I need a break… and I need it SOON!

If it is all that hard to get myself fully convinced of things… Imagine getting Vic… She’s been on a bit of a Faith Crisis lately… Been there, took the ride, got the T-shirt… don’t recommend it to anyone…

Gotta go… Got a film to do.
