I know Speedy Gonzales! He lives in my kitchen!!

Remember the little mouse that TB had found in the bottom of our garden whilst hapilly bouncing on his Trampoline??

Well… it seems to have gotten tired of living under the weather and decided to move indoors!

I am an insomniac… well mostly insomniac anyways… It seems I have gotten a lot better since I got married and had my first kiddo… The fact is that I spend most of my nights even working on websites, or retouching photos and editing videos ( and when I can’t be bothered, just playing xbox or watching TV).

Sure, if you know me you already knew that. But the point I want to make is that being a night creature means that one learns that strange noises happen, specially as the complete silence amplifies anything. And I am used to listening to steps or seeing vultures and feeling “presences” sometimes so it didn’t bother me much when I saw a tiny one close to the door a fiw nights ago… actually the reason it scared me is because I thought it was a huge spider.

Well it so happens that that huge spider was our old lil friend from the garden and today I had an encounter close and personal with it as it ventured to the middle of the living room while I watched “The Motorcycle Diaries” (great film BTW… specially when you understand spanish… the jokes sound better then than on the subtitles! LOL). It looked at me and I liiked at it and as I moved it decided to run for cover!

Of course when I realized what was it  in fact I mustered all my courage and went hunting for the minuscule rodent all around the livng room, the dinning room and kitchen. It was a battle of epic proportions (and I am sure the mouse world will treat it like that) as for 25 minutes we were locked in a battle for life or death. Me armed with a brrom… the mouse armed with it’s incredible speed.

And he won… Mouse I dub thee Speedy Gonzales!!!

I have to conceed… the little bugger was too fast for me! But whoever laughs later laughs the most (or understood the joke after everyone else… ) and revenge is a dish best served cold!

My first mission for tomorrow is to go and buy a (humane) mouse trap!

Speedy Gonzales, you might have gottern the best of me today… but tomorrow is another day… and the war is on until I finish you up!!! mua hua hua hua hua!! *evil laugh*.

more about the epic war of 2 worlds as it develops… (keep an eye on twitter for updates on the fly).

zya!!!

PS: I know I know… I’ve been neglecting the blog latelly… but… I’ve got my reasons and you will soon know them… :)

Kathia’s wedding was great and I think I’ve managed a few GREAT shots so I think it will make a lovely wedding video. Will post some snips later (I’ve got her consent to use it in my portfolio… yayyy!! :) )

zya later crocodiles!!! ;)

That darn mousie! What you need is a good mouser – like our kitty, Blossom. :-)

Our other kitty, Mr. Spot, wouldn’t help at all. He’s too lazy.

How’s your foot?

I saw a mouse!
Where?
There on the stair!
Where on the stair?
Right there!
A little mouse with clogs on
Well I declare!
Going clip-clippety-clop on the stair
Oh yeah

Yeah, we’re getting me that cat I’ve always wanted!

A mousetrap is cheaper. Cats need looking after and food, etc. If you get a pet then dogs are much better all round.

This mouse he got lonesome, he took him a wife
A windmill with mice in, is hardly surprisin’
She sang every morning, “How lucky I am,
Living in a windmill in old Amsterdam!”
