Legos Guys Invade Christmas
If you’ve been following glowstars.net and urbanvox.net for the past few days you will know that we are in full Christmas swing here at UrbanVox HQ. And this year I am taking a swing at the Christmas decorations.
See if you can see my logic, I will be as direct and straight forward as possible:
We will not spend Christmas at home. Therefore it makes no sense having the house all decorated for Christmas.
Doesn’t that make sense???
Well… it doesn’t make any sense to Vic… She wants trees, tinsels and the whole shebang.
As you can se here, here, and here and well other places I can’t remember right now, we are having our customary xmas battle over decorations etc, mainly because I know I AM the one that will have to clear it up later.
Last round it looked like I was losing the war and Vic was gloating over it: she had tricked me into a compromise and as so manage to build a monument to her victory in our fireplace… but I am a genius!!! hehehe
Under my command today at 17:30pm a group of elite troopers took control of the enemy’s latest victory: The Christmas Tree!!!
As they say… if you can’t win… have a Lego Star Wars tree instead…

I’m kinda with you in the whole “if you’re not going to be there why decorate” logic. We won’t be home either, so I compromised – got out all the existing decorations but didn’t bother to get a tree. So the ornaments are still packed up but the other stuff is out. Of course, without a tree it sure doesn’t feel very festive. But at least there are stockings!
Finally someone sees logic in my so called illogical ideas!!!

I see your logic and I disagree with it. What about the build-up to Christmas? You need a tree for that. And it wasn’t like I decorated the rest of the house to an unrecognisable state – just put the cards we’d received on the mantlepiece. It’s all very understated.
You better keep a good eye on your army though – otherwise they may get destroyed!
