Having a baby is probably one of the happiest moments in a parent’s life. The parenting experience on the other hand is not always all that it is bottled up to be; happiness and joy coupled with sleepless nights and dirty diapers. Any parent knows that good help in the parenting process is hard to come by and always welcome.

If you know me and read my posts you will know that I am a gadgets aficionado. I love little things tat make our lives easier in a way or another… even it it is not a lot of difference… I love the genius of the thing. Needless to say that is the Wife would let me I would collect way too many of them…hell… I do that already, but you know what I mean! Right???

So… The Wife got to review a nursing pillow called Boppy a few a couple of weeks ago, and when the Boppy people contacted me offering to do the same review I said well… Why not??? It could do with a male’s perspective right??

I know it would do no good for me to review the nursing features to the post… as a dude I have no boobs – might have bigger moobs than a few women but they wouldn’t serve the same purpose would they?

I won’t bore you with technical description of the pillow as well, if you want it you can go and get it on their website (and while you are there you can also play the coolest little game they have there called Mum’s Revenge. I’m sure a lot of people will feel satisfied about playing it.

I will concentrate on the practical aspects of the pillow.

Yes, there is the obvious use that is feeding. Little one seemed very comfy laying on top of it while having his morning bottle, and it is one of his favourite places to chill whilst watching CBEEBIES (I know what you will say… bad bad daddy… but it is either that or the news! And he LOVES the news… weird baby… )

The horseshoe format of the pillow makes sure he is well supported all around when sitting unaided and the  Soft Touch  poliester fiber padding makes sure he is protected against any falls when he gets tired to hold himself sitting upright. The Pillow is actually so comfy that Lil One has fallen asleep over it during tummy time. That and according to TB, it makes a “mean head rest pillow making your neck all comfy”.

So… If I have to base the my review only on their approval it will be 5 stars out of 5.

There is The wife’s issues tho… about it not fitting too good around her waist… so I will have to duck one star… 4 out of 5…
