Mum School is in Session
I was never the sort of guy that would medicate for everything under the sun…
Specially headaches and fevers… I would simply grind my teeth and wait until life is good again… and if you know me enough you will also know of my chronic headaches (the noes no doctor can ever explain).
Going to doctors then was out of the question… I hated doctors… Sorry docs…nothing personal… the one thing I had against you is that every time I went to see one of you I’d spend hours or days at the hospital… then again I would only go to hospital when I really couldn’t bare pain or lack of breath anymore.
I have always been like that… I’d miraculously feel better at the mere mention of a visit to the docs…
That is until TB was born.
I could cope with any pain myself, but don;t ask me to cope with my kiddo’s pain. My first instinct is always to give them some Nurofen!
I few weeks back I was invited to go to press/bloggers briefing about the release of a website called mumschool.com a new tool for mums and dads out there. It was a really early morning and the commute with Lil one wasn’t ideal but I am glad we went to this briefing.
They had 2 invited guests: Doctor Sarah Jarvis and health visitor Dawn Kelly and the amount of information they’ve pumped into us was enough to fill 3 or 4 different topics for a series of videos.
So from today and going for 3 weeks I’ll release a series of 3 videos covering everything that was spoken at this briefing.
So… Mum’s and Dad’s Mum’s School is in session starting with Dr. Sarah Jarvis making a comparison between Paracetamol and Nurofen and when should you actually give them to your children.
If you still have any doubts or for more info on what was covered in today’s video please visit mumschool.com
If you find this post useful please let me know and even after the series is over I’ll try and run more articles on that
Enjoy!
