We’ve never celebrated Halloween at my parents house…
I never went trick or treating…
We never decorated and carved pumpkins… So I never really seen the point on doing it with my kids…
Yesterday I had the kids with me and we were looking for something to do indoors as we had planned a day together and it started raining… The answer came in the form of a pumpkin.
So me, my 3 favorite boys and 1 favorite girl decided it would be cool to carve a pumpkin…
And it was… Well… up to the point where my 2 main helpers decided that it was too “yucky” to take the seeds from inside the pumpkin and lost interest… *sighs*… Kids… So while my favorite girl took 200000 pictures of Lil One trying to eat the insides of the just carved pumpkin, I carved a scary face on Jack o’Lantern’s head.
For the final touch I stole one of her scented candles and lighted it inside the Pumpkin head for the awesome effect you see on top of the post.
Looks cool huh????
It definitely was fun(and messy) to do!!!! hehehe

I dont celebrate halloween anymore to close to my old ways for my liking. Though i do remember how yucky the inside of the pumpkin is. Did you make anything with the insides, I have never tried pumpkin just the look of it makes me quiver
Nope we didn’t… it went straight to the bin…
I would have tried but didn’t really have much time and Hayley didn’t even consider trying… lol!
