The one about hair and videotapes

I suppose the photo above describes what I’ve been up to for the past weekend right???

No???

Well… so am gonna have to lay it to you in details… :)

I’ve spent the weekend working for XF Media doing some shots of hair makeovers and event coverage for INOAR at this years Salon International Fair at London’s ExCel.

Over 12 hours of hair related raw footage (that only from my camera… we were in 5 cams there over the weekend so do the maths) was quite enough for me and I for once am sooooo very happy I won’t be doing the editing. :)

Apart from the fact that I REALLY don’t want to see hair products (specifically straightener relater thingys) or hairdressers in front of me for quite a while I have to admit that I had LOADS of fun working with their crew. And I got to play with a Canon 5D (which at the moment is my dream camera) and absolutely fall in love with what it can do (damn!!).

I had an awesome time (if not VERY tiring… but hey… it comes with the job). LOADS of making of footage and photos that I’ll make sure I publish later… (As in when our official photographer sends them to everyone – I know you are reading this… there is no hiding… BTW… I’m still waiting for the Brazilian Film Festival ones! :P )

It does feel great to be out there again… Renewing contacts and making new ones (including a fellow blogger that writes awesome poetry and music and stuff) and being creative once more…

Tell the boys I’m back in town too… and there is no stopping me this time! ;)

zya!
