I was talking to Cara (@snoozeshade) today about how it is so much easier to talk about other people, other companies than it is to say good things about ourselves… then I saw this post at the Blog Up North and I HAD to tag myself in it.

If nothing it is a GREAT self discovery exercise.

I’m also trying to get my Photography Media Pack finally done and out there… and to know myself would really the best way to let everyone know what I want to offer… My photography is an extension and an expression of who I am…

So… enough of blabbing and let’s get cracking with with this meme.

The rules of the game then:

This one gives a set of unfinished sentences. My task, should I choose to accept it (and seeing as it’s here to read I guess I did) is to fill in those sentences. Here goes…

I am… an Onion… (gotta love Shreck… hehehe). You have to get through loads of layers to get to my core… I’m spicy like one too… I am an open book… but one with loads of notes written around the edges of each page… I can’t lie… I am awful at it… I am shy… I just hide behind a mask of a non shy me… I am extremely creative when I am creating for someone else (hence my current state of being stuck at doing my own campaign… but it will come to me… eventually… I am a dad, a boyfriend, an ex-husband, a friend… I am an Onion…

The bravest thing I’ve ever done… was standing up for myself and say enough was enough… Was thinking about myself when all I could ever do was thinking of everyone else… I am being brave again by starting over from 0 at 30… By being the best dad I can be… By not giving up on life…

I feel prettiest when… I am told so… Although pretty wouldn’t be the right word for it would it?? Dudes can be handsome or some’t like that am I right? So yeah… I feel pretty when I’m told so… it doesn’t happen very often…

Something that keeps me awake at night is… my mind… it doesn’t shut down… ever… it keeps me awake trying to find solutions for everything that happened during the day… and that will happen the next day… and that are happening there and then… It just goes on and on and on… I wish I had an off button sometimes… Snoring and sleep talking keeps me up too… not mine… nuff said…

My favourite meal is… any meal I have with the ones I love… Chatting and eating and laughing around the table… or on the sofa…

The way to my heart is… taking me how I am… I am simple once you read the notes around the edges of the pages that are my life and there is no need to complicate things that are not complicated… I am however attracted to complicated things/people… I like a challenge… But don’t exagerate too much!

I would like to be… in bed… having cuddles… kisses… chatting and laughing… I would like to be in the arms of an angel… I would like to be in my own space… one that I can share with the people that really matter to me… I would also like to be somewhere sunny right now… but that’s beside the point…
