It’s that time of the year again…

The time every single parent blogger awaits all year… well… if you are a competitive sod like I am that is…

It is time for the 2011 edition of The MADs Award!!! Hoorray!!!!

Last year I was one of the runner ups for the Most Innovative Blog category… I still don’t know how that happened, but it was loads of fun being right there and competing with some amazing bloggers… I didn’t get The Most Innovative Blogger Award in the end, which went to the gorgeous Heather at notes from Lapland (and I can tell ya… she deserved id just for the little dress she was wearing at the ceremony… Just kidding…)

I’m not going to say that I wasn’t disappointed I didn’t win… I had to go out for some air before congratulating her gracefully… As I said, I am VERY competitive… lol… It was a huge surprise when I came back inside just in time to receive a prize I didn’t even know existed. The Blogging RockStar Award. That did manage to cheer me up… lol!!!

The past year was quite a turbulent year for me… One that between many other things I sacrificed my blogging for a while, so I didn’t expect to be nominated for anything this year, and to be honest… I don’t know if I was even in the mood to participate of many blogging events… So how surprised I am that I got a nomination for Best MAD Pregnancy Blog ?!?!?! LOL!!!!

Yeah… OK… I might have a big belly at the moment and have been craving chocolates and other things over twitter conversations… but Pregnant??? LOL! LOVE IT! Only problem is that I’d be running against Hales as she has been nominated for the same category… And considering that we are both blogging about the same pregnancy that could get interesting… LOL!!!!

So… As traditionally it is time for some shameless begging and bribing etc…

PLEASE vote for the UrbanVox HQ here... You can either second my nomination as Best Pregnancy Blog and see how much fun would be seeing me running against my beautiful girlfriend (who is going to kick my balls when she reads that) or give me a second chance at taking the Most Innovative Award this time…. whatcha say?????

Let’s make things more interesting… If I end up as one of the candidates for the awards I will… ummmm…. You choose!!! (just don’t be cruel!!!)
