I haven’t done a Musical Monday in ages… which is weird as Music has inspired me a lot lately.. it has brought me back from the abyss that is my mind when I am in a low for one reason or another… Yeah… depression sucks!

But blasting loud music in my ears has always helped me… And is incredible how ideas flow as I sing and dance along to my favourite uplifting tunes… I get lost in them… and on the ideas that cross in my mind… and people in trains think I’m a loony (yeah… check my tweets from Friday night…. lol)

I was going to post and talk about Creed’s Higher… It’s been one of the songs that will always make part of my life’s OST…  It talks about a dream world I would love to live in and that I would love to bring to Real life if I could… But I realise that this is not what I need… Not this week… not for the rest of my life if I am ever to make any difference again…

I am 31 years old… Haven’t got time or energy to hide in my happy place any more… More to the point, I am mortal and have an expiration date… So working on a deadline here and there is still a lot I want to leave behind before I go…

When you are young… and dumb… it gets too damn easy to forget that  each day is a gift and not a given… so…
