Hey you sporty types!!! Are you running track and field?? Are you wearing North Face’s Hedgehog GTX?? No?? Then you’re doing it wrong!

No seriously… I am not a sporty type any more… I am an Adventure Race Marshall whenever I can and that’s that really… but if you ever competed you will know the importance of wearing the right pair of trainers…I am a sucker for track and field ones… and I appreciate comfy shoes… and that’s why after spending the past couple of weeks test driving North Face’s Hedgehog and I seriously recommend it.Well… the video bellow should tell all…

Boppy-dee-doo!!

Having a baby is probably one of the happiest moments in a parent’s life. The parenting experience on the other hand is not always all that it is bottled up to be; happiness and joy coupled with sleepless nights and dirty diapers. Any parent knows that good help in the parenting process is hard to come by and always welcome.

If you know me and read my posts you will know that I am a gadgets aficionado. I love little things tat make our lives easier in a way or another… even it it is not a lot of difference… I love the genius of the thing. Needless to say that is the Wife would let me I would collect way too many of them…hell… I do that already, but you know what I mean! Right???

Millet’s Amazing Maize Maze

We had a blast of a time at Millets Farm Maize Maze and where we went along with some Fab bloggers (queue for plugging Hayley, Pippa ,Catherine , Paula , Gayle , Emma and Jon ) and their families for the Grand Opening of the ’Special Circus’ themed day on Saturday 24^th July to celebrate the beginning of the school holidays!

The Beautiful South

If you’ve been following the UrbanVox HQ you will know that our household is no stranger to Portsmouth.

Portsmouth itself, holds a special place in our heart: it was where the wife and I first met (in real life, that is… We’d been following each other’s blogs and exchanged emails and talked on ICQ for about a month or so before that). That first day we shopped in town and walked out to Gunwharf Quays late afternoon. Our first flat was in Portsmouth(Well Fratton) and we frequently visited Gunwharf and loved the Victorian Christmas festival. It was also in Portsmouth that I popped the big question(or tried as she managed to find the ring while I was cooking a special dinner during which I was planning to propose) and it was there that we got Married.

So it was a pleasure to be recruited by Have a Lovely Time to go and write a review on the new Family Fun in the Beautiful South campaign of Tourism South East.

The Club Penguin Winners

I promise that is the the last time I speak about penguins for a while.

Seriously… they are like totally awesome and cute and cuddly and all but that is the last time I’ll talk about them… for a while…

And the reason I am even talking about penguins right now is because I need to tell you who won the Penguin Club Herber’s Revenge DS game and who won the Penguin Club Premium Membership.

It was hard to find a creative and just way to settle the dispute so I have decided to be totally random and ask Emma (from MeTheManandBaby) to choose a number.
