Me, Myself and I…

Right… now the usual then… I never know where to start when writing these Bio things… So bear with me…

Social Media Enthusiast & Gadget Freak should define me in a nutshell. I Feel naked without my iPhone.

Super dad to 3 monkeys. Photographer/Designer/dreamer/Lego Fan/Nuts (yeah… I’m a bit nutty…) PR Friendly. HEYA!!! ;-)

Yuri is my name and Photography is my game, so you will find LOADS of it in this blog together with my adventures and rants… yeah… I rant a lot too…

I started blogging in 2002 when I decided to create a sort of log to a project I had… My blog then became a travel log… then I became a dad  and the other part coping with PND and my blog was my escape… and the log as adventures as a dad… and urbanvox is the latest incarnation of my blogging career and it started as I started taking my Photography to a professional level… That was in February 2005, and still going.

Life is soooo repetitive… but it is our duty to make it FUN!!!

Hey there,

First of all just to say we love your site and were pleased to learn of your geek & gadget enthusiasm!

I work for the TV production company Endemol, who produce the hot TV Show ‘Total Wipeout’ for the BBC. If you haven’t seen or heard of the show before; it’s a game show hosted by Richard Hammond & Amanda Byram where 20 Brits jet out to Argentina to take on a pretty ludicrous obstacle course!

We’re bringing the whole experience to life in the form of ‘Total Wipeout – Big Ball Run’ game, available on Facebook and in a standalone Downloadable Application which uses motion sensor technology. Kids, adults and anyone who’s a fan of the show can have their go at taking on the Big Red Balls and the rest of the obstacles! It’s really easy all you need is a webcam, it’s fun for the whole family and a great way to keep in shape.

We’re really keen to hear from parents who would like to test the game with their kids prior to the game’s launch. If you think that’s something you might quite like to do then drop me an e-mail at mark.utting@endemoluk.com and we can sort that out for you.

If you don’t fancy it but you’re still interested in the game, you can join our Facebook group here so you’re the first to hear the latest news : http://www.facebook.com/BigBallRun

I look forward to hearing from you.

Cheers,

Mark

Hi Yuri,

Firstly, congratulations on your blog! It looks great and it seems as if you are cultivating a loyal fanbase!

I am writing to tell you about our new message service, Hugmail, to see if you might be interested in reviewing it for your blog. Hugmail allows you to convert digital photos stored on your mobile, computer or Facebook into real, printed postcards and sends them anywhere in the world for just £1.49.

Having noticed how much some of our grandparents and older relatives miss out on in terms of family news and photos, because they don’t own a smartphone and aren’t on Facebook or email, we wanted to find a way to make it easier for everyone.

Please find a link to our website here: http://hugmail.com/

You can download the appfree, for iPhone here:
http://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/hugmail/id476574257?mt=8

or for Android here:
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.hugmail.android

I’d be more than happy to organise some tokens so you can get the most out of the app for free while you are working out what you think of it, so please do get in touch!

Kind regards,

Sam Peskin
