There I said it. There is no reason to hide it, and lets face it… what man doesn’t like a nice pair of boobs?
This weeks gallery post is all about a picture of something we are proud of.
This week I am proud to be counted in the numbers of some awesome gals (and a few guys) that will be getting their boobs (and moobs) out for #boobieweds to help raise awareness for breast self examination.
Did you know that 1 in 9 women will get breast cancer at some point in their lives, and at least at a third of women will not self-check their breasts. Early diagnosis is essential in treating breast cancer, and that’s where monthly self-checks come in.
That is so not what I had planned for my gallery post today, but Mrs.TeaPot inspired me with her post and so here I am.
And I am not stoping there… I am inviting you to do the same and show some love for boobs all over the place… And you guys should do the same, yes… dudes have breast tissue too (about 290 men get diagnosed with breast cancer each year in the UK and about half doesn’t survive because he wasn’t diagnosed in time).
Get the out and proud like they did and get them out there and proud! Write a blog post and show your support, change your Twitter Avatar for today (wednesday), or if yu are too shy to do that, just GET THE WORD OUT THERE!!!
(All boobs shows down here are being used with the authorization of their owners and are linking to their respective Twitter accounts and blog posts)
If you decide to go for it and get your boobs (or moobs) out for self examination come back here and add your blog (or twitter account???) to the Linky thing bellow and lets have a super #boobieweds festival!
Have fun!!!!!
I was never the sort of guy that would medicate for everything under the sun…
Specially headaches and fevers… I would simply grind my teeth and wait until life is good again… and if you know me enough you will also know of my chronic headaches (the noes no doctor can ever explain).
Going to doctors then was out of the question… I hated doctors… Sorry docs…nothing personal… the one thing I had against you is that every time I went to see one of you I’d spend hours or days at the hospital… then again I would only go to hospital when I really couldn’t bare pain or lack of breath anymore.
I have always been like that… I’d miraculously feel better at the mere mention of a visit to the docs…
That is until TB was born.
I could cope with any pain myself, but don;t ask me to cope with my kiddo’s pain. My first instinct is always to give them some Nurofen!

We went to Legoland last week to have a fabulous Nutella Brekie with a bunch of FAB bloggers. Well, The Wife went for brekie, I went for the fun of it (and I did get to eat LOADS of Nutella as well so even tho I stayed with the kiddos whilst she went for a nutrition talk / learn some new recipes (using nutella, of course) etc it was a win win situation!)
Stories… we all got them… And When Pippa decided that she was curious about the story of how me and The Wife took the decision and got married within 3 weeks I decided it was going to be the best subject ever for this weeks Gallery: Memories. Are you ready to take a journey through time with me?
Where do I start… well… from the start sounds good uh… We met over the internet… no… not in dating suites… I was in the UK for a sabbatical. I was bored one day and went to google to find blogs to read… and found hers.
We exchanged comments… and emails and ICQ msgs for about a month and decided to meet up in person. She was going to go shopping in Portsmouth… I said “why not?” and we met at the station. First time I saw her I knew she was the one. she thought I was a freak… I guess she was right… I actually told her in our first date we would get married in the end…
