I am not an Apple fan… Hell I am even reconsidering if the iMonster was the worst choice in phones I’ve ever done… Sure it is funky and fashionable and has that “there is an app for that” for everything really… but there are other BETTER phones on the market.

So WHY ON EARTH do I so desperately NEED to have an iPad???

The worst thing is that I don’t really need one… you see… we have a household ratio of 2 computers per person here (I’ve got 2 desktops that I use for work… yup I NEED BOTH of them… seriously… ) 2 laptops (one of which TB’s been claiming as his own since the old one he inherited from me decided it wanted to RIP… he chose the tiny one I take everywhere because it fits everywhere And apparently it is TB sized), 2 iphones (not computers… but face it… you can do all the important things with them like checking emails, blogging, watching TV… playing games… and they have infinitely more computer power than the Apollo 11, let’s not forget that!!)

There is no doubt about that… I am a gadget addict and I am trying to convince myself that I don’t need another toy… it is kinda like trying yo convince TB that he doesn’t need any more LEGO.

So what if it has a high-resolution, 9.7-inch LED-backlit IPS display on iPad is remarkably crisp and vivid. Which makes it perfect for web browsing, watching movies, or viewing photos and it features a display technology called IPS (in-plane switching), it has a wide, 178° viewing angle. So you can hold it almost any way you want and still get a brilliant picture, with excellent color and contrast.

And What if it has the world famous Multi-Touch screen based on the same revolutionarytechnology on iPhone. The technology has been completely reengineered for the larger iPad surface, making it extremely precise and responsive. So whether you’re zooming in on a map, flicking through your photos, or deleting an email, iPad responds with incredible accuracy. And it does just what you want it to.

What if one of the first things you’ll notice about iPad is how thin and light it is. The screen is 9.7 inches measured diagonally. So overall, it’s slightly smaller than a magazine. At just 1.5 pounds and 0.5 inch thin, you can take it anywhere. And a slight curve to the back makes it easy to pick up and comfortable to hold.

And What about the 10 hour Battery Life and wi-fi and 3G connections or the powerful speakers and Ubber performance of the new Apple A4 processor with a choice of 16GB, 32GB, or 64GB of flash storage, giving you lots of room for your photos, movies, music, apps, and more.

And what about all those funky accessories.

WHO NEEDS ALL THAT?????

I DO!!! I neeeeeed it *pouts like a toddler wanting a toy he saw on a display*

Come on people I am trying to justify why I should have an iPad…. any ideas??? HELP!!!

:)

Vic wanted a xmas tree… me and TB had some ideas on how to decorate it… that’s what u get when u put the 2 ideas together… hehehehe

Edit: I’ve been complained uppon about video only posts (yup… if you read that I’m talking about you…. and you know who you are… :P ) so now you can click here to go and see a written / photography version of this post… ;)

If you’ve been following glowstars.net and urbanvox.net for the past few days you will know that we are in full Christmas swing here at UrbanVox HQ. And this year I am taking a swing at the Christmas decorations.

See if you can see my logic, I will be as direct and straight forward as possible:

We will not spend Christmas  at home. Therefore it makes no sense having the house all decorated for Christmas.

Doesn’t that make sense???

Well… it doesn’t make any sense to Vic… She wants trees, tinsels and the whole shebang.

As you can se here, here, and here and well other places I can’t remember right now, we are having our customary xmas battle over decorations etc, mainly because I know I AM the one that will have to clear it up later.

Last round it looked like I was losing the war and Vic was gloating over it: she had tricked me into a compromise and as so manage to build a monument to her victory in our fireplace… but I am a genius!!! hehehe

Under my command today at 17:30pm a group of elite troopers took control of the enemy’s latest victory: The Christmas Tree!!!

As they say… if you can’t win… have a Lego Star Wars tree instead… ;)

ME AND TB ARE WORKING ON A STOP MOTION STYLE LEGO STAR WARS ANIMATION… HERE IS SOME OF THE BRUTE OG THE IMAGES WE’RE USING… ANY IDEAS??? ENJOY

I want to live in a house completelly made out of legos!!!

I wish I had this idea… and the money to buy 3 million bricks of lego… :)

The presenter of Top Gear, James May is up there and living my dream – and most of all TB’s dream in the middle of Denbies Wine Estate in Dorking for the BBC series “James May Toy Stories”. I a, soooo gonna have to watch that!!!

May has vowed to live for a few days in the life-sized house, which comes complete with a working shower and toilet, once it has been completed.

I’m planning to stay there for two or three days, or until it falls down – whichever is sooner.  I’m pretty relaxed about it, but will just have to be careful moving around. If I wake up buried under a pile of bricks I’ll know it’s gone wrong.

Well one thing is for sure… if it works that COULD be a way to make housing prices go down as I am sure building houses out of legos would be cheapper than out of bricks! Not that some of the modern houses you see out there don;t already look as if they are made out of lego pieces but hey… :)

The most worrying thing of all is that he said he had the idea whilst having a beer with friends! Who said nothing good comes out of alcohol!!! LOL

As I said… I am soooo gonna have to watch that program with the TB. Too bad really they didn’t do it coser to us so I could take him to give a hand. They were letting the kiddos help make the mega bricks for the building! hehehe

I wanna live in Legoland!! How about you?? Would you live in a Lego House?!?!?!
