Weekend in Photos (too exhausted to write lots) #366Project

Saturday started with an incredible and VERY rare lie in until 9am followed by a delicious breakfast composed mainly of… well… Hotwheels cars (followed by a proper brekie because I was still hungry after so much iron in my diet… )

The rest of the day was spent crashing the same cars agains each other or playing “Fight For The Ball” (our little version of rugby… or something like that… brutal… but awesome way to burn energy) with the big monkey…

Next… We started a Little LEGO project…

Still a prototype… but our Terranova Mobile Headquarters is starting to look good… Still need to solve the problem with the tracks tho… as in… they keep falling off… but The Big Monkey is happy with the result so far. He better be… it was bloody 1am by the time it was “done”. He fell asleep… I was left awake to finish it off so he could play with it in the morning… The things we don’t do for out kiddos huh?!?!?! lol

Another LEGO Started this morning before we were ready to go pick the Littlest Monkey up for Triple Monkey time.

Triple Monkey Time!!!!!

Little was incredibly excited screaming and bouncing and saying “my baby” hugging Littlest and stroking his head. Big was happy to see him and they both flanked him and my mum (she was holding him)… At 1st he looked at them and smiled as usual… Promptly it was all a bit too much and we had tears and crying… A few cuddles later and a change in scenery (and a with a little help from Little as he took his dummy off and put it on Littlest mouth… yeah… kids come up with the simplest solutions… and damn it if they work!!!) and we were all happy and giggling again.

I even managed a rare photo (using the phone camera) of the 3 of them that Im able to publish here!!!!

LOVE IT!!!!!! Yes I do ! I do I do I do!!! 3 little monkeys… ALWAYS on the move!!!!

Talking about moving…

I should have posted the one of Little One trying to teach my mum how to ride a scooter… but you know what? I kinda sorta really LOVE that one… 5 more sleeps until I see the Monkey Trio again!

As usual at the end of Monkey Weekends… I am exhausted beyond belief… but happy as well… And bring on the week ahead!

So… Today I forgot to do my 366Project photo and couldn’t think of a good idea to photograph so I asked for my beloved twitter friends help… the result is as follows…

Wait wait… there is a story behind the infamous photo where I horrify you with a photo of my hairy belly… It kinda goes like that:

Me: I forgot to do my 366 Photo for today!!!! quick give me a theme! I will take a photo NOW!

@Mammasaurus: ok photo a body part!

Me: a body part… huh… I know!!!!!!!

@softthistle : ooh… theme: Imperfections!

Me: imperfections… inperfect body parts… MY BELLY!!!!!! heheh somehow I don’t think that will look good… lol

@Mammasaurus: Maybe you could super-impose some trees on it and gnomes…

Me: on my belly????

@softthistle : umm… or something that’s nothing to do with your belly?

@Mammasaurus: yes on your belly with one gnome fishing from your belly button…

Me: LOL!!!!!!!! that would be one hell of a photo!!! LOL

And THAT is how my unfit belly photo ended up in my blog… Just… I didn’t have any Gnomes so I used a legoman Clone Trooper and I dodn’t have any fishes so I used the head of a lego shark coming out of my belly button… But you get the gist, right?!?!?! lol!

The point is… what would I do without my beloved (and slightly bad influence types) twitter friends??? LOL!

I am shameless…

Play #366Project day 6

One of the best things about having kids is that you get to play with things you would otherwise dismiss being an adult… Go on… admit it!!! You know I am right… Today I sat with the Lil Monkey and he said “Play”… He pulled me down pointed at the little Duplo Bricks He had taken off the box and mixed up with a few shapes that go on a wooden truck he absolutely loves (thanks John Crane Toys) and said play… And I played with him… and we laughed and I had FUN…

Problem with becoming adults is that we many times forget how much fun it is to play… Use your imagination abd put little blocks together… then get a bunch of Hotwheels and crash them together shouting CRASH and LAUGHING!!!!

I learn a lot with my sons… And I love every lesson I learn with them… Today’s lesson was: you are NEVER too old to PLAY!!!

Hey Sailor #366Project Day 3

Today we had Torrential Rains in Kent and combined with the raging and roaring window out there I really thought the house was just going to float away… OK… I am exaggerating it a bit… But it was fierce… And then all of a sudden I see a little path of blue on the sky… and it grows… and the sun comes out to play… So the choice was between staying indoors in front of a computer and going out to play in the sun… There really is no choice there is there???

The house was going to sail away… But instead our intrepid sailors had a bit of a shore leave…
