I know this is a bit of a close call… but… Fancy having an awesome day out and getting paid for it?????

The same “insane” people that brought to you the Rat Race Urban Adventure are all out with a new event format called HorsePlay 10k Adventure Run happening this weekend at Henley-on-Thames and they are in urgent need of Marshalls for it.

Here’s a run-down of what’s gonna be happening there,

The Event
Giddy Up. Here is the deal. Get on down to Henley-on-Thames this Spring for a spot of Horseplay! From the creators of the Rat Race, Men’s Health Survival of the Fittest and The Mighty Deerstalker comes an outrageous and tough new adventure running event at a stunning new event venue – it’s time for some Horseplay!

This is a brand new high octane off-road running event in a totally undiscovered event location, deep in the Buckinghamshire countryside and just outside Henley-on-Thames. A mere hop, skip and a (horse) jump away from London and the M25, it’s an idyll of English country bliss. The Roles
The roles range from registration desk, event village help, car park marshalling, or for the more adventurous – out on the course. This event has quite a character to it, with lots of fancy dress and a party on Saturday night. For anyone local or superkeen, then there are also some roles on the Friday or Sunday that you may be interested in.

The ‘menu’ of roles is;

1.    Friday: Superkeen? Then please indicate in your reply. We do not have a reward budget allocated to this day, but this is the day that we ‘build’ the event venue and waymark the course.

2.    Saturday: Registration and Finishline. 1000-2000.
3.    Saturday: Event Venue area(s). 1000-2100.
4.    Saturday: Out-on-the-Course: Water Station, Tracks, Hillside, Forests. 1000-2200.
5.    Sunday: Helping the clear up at event venue(s) and course waymarking (which involves walking the course to bring in signs and tape). We do not have a reward budget allocated for this day.

Most of these roles will require that you not sitting down much, if at all, during the day but it will be a great day out for sure!

The Reward
The offer for you working the Saturday at the event is:

•    A choice of £40 (cash or cheque) or £60 of Rat Race Store vouchers.
•    Reduced entry fee options to any of our Rat Race branded events.
•    Free Horseplay branded cotton T-shirt

You may be asked to complete a form P46 (or P38S if you are a student) on the day. If so, we will provide the form, and you will need to bring your National Insurance number thanks. If you are self-employed then you can invoice us. Lastly, you do need to be 18 years old minimum, unless you are attending with a parent or legal guardian.
