The other blogs going for the prize are awesome… Cafebebe, Notes From Lapland, Little Mummy and My Daddy Cooks are all in my reader (and I follow them on twitter)… and I am happy to even being a finalist but as Heather (from notes from lapland) said: “Hell…. So… time to go and vote… and tell the family… people you seeon the streets… everyone to go go and vote URBANVOX for the Most inovative Blog… Please pretty please…. :)

Six Years of Madness and Mayhem!

Who would have thought that?!?!?!

6 years of madness and mayhem today. 6 years since we’ve given the biggest step in our lives… The one that would actually mean we are grown ups…

We’ve gone through loads of bad and scary times (TB’s Terrible 2s being the scariest of them all so far), bud also loads of GREAT ones… Nobody ever said it would be easy… And then again… too easy is boring.

Call me cheesy, démodé, careta… etc etc etc… but I just don’t care… Vic, I still love you as much, if not more than that 1st day.

Happy anniversary baby boo!!!!

EDIT: I’ve now uploaded the video and posted it here. Go check it out;)

zya!

PS: Beth gave us an awesome Anniversary present: an edited version of our wedding video… It looks AWESOME! I’ll post it later after I get around with ripping it out of the DVD she recorded it on… For now… here’s an animoto thing with some of the pics (we still have like 24 disposable cameras to develop… hehehe)

Christmas Winter Wonderland

December is here and with it the dreaded Christmas Season… Yes I said dreaded… And if you know me you will also know I am not really a very Christmassy sort of person. Don’t take me wrong, I like the whole getting family and friends together thing and like anyone I like giving and receiving presents… but there is something about the whole season that just puts me off… Actually there are quite a few things that put me off… but that’s not what this post is all about!

Believe it or not, I am talking FUN today!! :)

We’ve been planing today for about a week (and by we, I really mean Vic) and we woke up with the prospect of going ice skating at Hide Park’s Winter Wonderland. And I was looking forward to teach TB to fall on his ass slide graciously over the ice… just when we got there it was sold out… that and the circus thing…

Not to worry… there was still plenty to do… and wit that we’ve spent a whole afternoon of indulging ourselves.

At some point of the afternoon was called a grumpy old man for complaining of queues, pain in my knee, expending too much money (You gotta agree that £16 in pick and mix is A HELL OF A LOT)…

My response to that? It is all part of the Pires Xmas Tradition! :)

zya!
